The Arizona Department of Public Safety sent out a reminder this week to Arizonans who want to experience the recent snowfall in the northern part of the state.

Drivers should not stop along the highway to play in the snow, the release states. Motorists should check the latest weather and road conditions at www.az511.com or by calling 5-1-1.

Information about snow play in Flagstaff can be found by calling the Flagstaff Visitor's Center at (928) 774-9541 or (800) 842-7293. Visit their website at http://flagstaffarizona.org.

High temperatures in Flagstaff will be around 30 on Thursday. Friday temperatures in Flagstaff will warm to 47, according to the National Weather Service. Christmas Day high temperatures will be around 50. There is a 10 percent chance of rain and snow showers Sunday and Monday.
