Colorful costumes and high-energy dancing are just a couple of the reasons the Utah Ballroom Dance Company’s “Simply Ballroom” presentation is thrilling audiences nationwide.
Sun City West residents will get their opportunity to see the lifts, hundreds of costumes and variety of ballroom dances when the company performs at 7:30 p.m. March 14 in Palm Ridge Recreation Center, 13800 W. Deer Valley Road, Sun City West.
Audiences will be treated to performances of the Latin samba of Brazil, the majestic slow waltz of Austria, the rhythmical cha-cha from Cuba, the intense Spanish Paso Doble and more.
“Simply Ballroom” also will feature both Latin and standard ballroom competition medleys that won the Utah Ballroom Dance Company the United States Collegiate Championship.
Tickets are $10 for residents, and $12 for non-residents and for tickets sold at the door.
Tickets are available at the Sun City West Box Office, open between 8 and 11:30 a.m. weekdays in the R.H. Johnson Administrative Offices, 19803 R.H. Johnson Blvd.
