Natural Health Care Specialties took a leap of faith 17 years ago and moved from Tempe to Ahwatukee Foothills.

"We had our eye on one piece of property, which was actually the old Ahwatukee fire station. It fitted our needs so perfectly, it was in the heart of Ahwatukee and we could remodel it to make it our own ideal creation," said Dr. Amy C. Puls, adding that her Ahwatukee health team strives to bring balance to peoples' lives.

While they all work to create healthier lifestyles, each of the practice's nine employees focus on different aspects, which Puls says helps to create enrichment. They include therapy, chiropractic techniques, massage, aesthetician, hypnotist and weight loss.

Puls noted that the health team has been taking time out of its busy schedule to prepare for a chamber breakfast mixer they will be hosting next Tuesday, Jan. 11. For Puls and her team, it is all about good health, as they will be serving healthy foods and drinks to bring in the New Year right.

"The hour will be filled with door prizes, introductions, breakfast and networking," Puls said, adding that her health team feels honored to be able to host the event.

We look forward to seeing the community come together, she added.
