One Step Beyond will present its seventh annual Showcase of the Arts at Theater Works.

This talent show will include the original play “A Series of Unfortunate Events” by Natalie Gradilla, performed by the OSB Theatre Department.

In addition, the show will include OSB Explosion, OSB Jam Band, Comical Cats and more. The annual Showcase of the Arts will perform at Theater Works’ on the Mary Jane Gyder stage June 6 and 7, beginning with a fine arts show and sale at 6 p.m. and the performance at 7. Tickets are $5 and may be purchased by calling One Step Beyond.

The money raised during the Showcase of the Arts will go toward One Step Beyond’s Cultural Arts Program. This program allows One Step Beyond to pay for dance classes, acting classes, arts and crafts, etc.

One Step Beyond’s mission is to provide responsive, progressive and dynamic programs to empower individuals with developmental disability to realize their dreams of optimal independence, meaningful employment, significant social relationships and full participation in the community.  The vision is a world in which people with disability are fully included in all areas in the community and are recognized for their potential, their talent and their contributions to society.

The partnership with Theater Works provides employment training for OSB, and OSB utilizes Theater Works arts training programs.

Contact Justin Watson at 623-215-2449 to purchase tickets.
