Harkins Theatres and Phoenix Children’s Hospital have already forged the “Feel Good Partnership of the Year,” with Harkins making annual commitments of nearly $1 million through in-kind donations and from a portion of proceeds from its loyalty T-Shirts. Now, Harkins Theatres is turning to its Facebook community to help give even more help to Phoenix Children’s Hospital.

For each new “like” it receives at its official Facebook page, Harkins will donate 50 cents to Phoenix Children’s Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders, up to $10,000. The partnership runs through the end of 2012.

“This will be one of the easiest donations our fans could ever make. All they have to do is ‘like’ Harkins on Facebook and we will write the check,” said Dan Harkins, owner and CEO of Harkins Theatres. “Phoenix  Children’s Hospital does many great things for our community, and I have personally been touched by many of  the brave patients I’ve had the honor of meeting and talking to there. It’s our privilege to support such a great Valley institution.”
