The Tempe Exchange Club and the Proudly We Hail Committee recently nominated and awarded the "Proudly We Hail" award to the Ahwatukee Board of Management for its continuous displays of patriotism in the community.
The Proudly We Hail Award program encourages the regular display of the flag by individuals, commercial establishments and industries.
No symbol inspires respect and love of our country more than our American flag, this is why Exchange encourages all Americans to properly fly the flag as an ongoing, highly visible expression of that respect through the Proudly We Hail program.
Exchange is a non political, volunteer organization and the local Tempe club is the driving force behind the 9-11 Healing Field Memorial in Tempe.
