Firefighters from Sun City West Ladder Co. 102 drop three balls selected as finalists during a ball drop raffle. The owner of the ball closest to a practice green’s hole won a three-day, two-night trip to Hawaii, airfare included. Raffle proceeds benefited Benevilla.

Romero qualified for a chance at winning the cash after placing his ball 30 inches away from the hole in an open contest. He then was given the chance to sink another long-range putt for the money. Romero missed the putt but walked away with a prize for having the closest putt.
