A Tempe Fire Department dive team will search Tempe Town Lake on Thursday morning for a 24-year-old man who has not been seen since Jan. 16.

Willie Jigba was reported missing after he didn't show up for work on the first day of a new job. He was last seen at a party that weekend in the 600 block of East Weber Drive that was broken up by police.

Crews searching the area Wednesday did not find any items related to the missing-person investigation, Tempe police Sgt. Steve Carbajal said.

Jigba is a black male with short black hair and brown eyes. Anyone with any information regarding Jigba’s whereabouts can call Tempe police at (480) 350-8311.
