With the first two races of Lucas Oil Off Road Series in the books, racers and fans welcome it back to Arizona.

The series returns to Speedworld Off Road Park April 14-17.

“We’ve turned these Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series events into a four-day deal, full of great experiences for both the racers and the fans,” said Speedworld Public Relations Manager Roland McNew. “These drivers are fully aware that without the fans, this sport wouldn’t survive.”

Speedworld’s event activities for race week include:

April 14: “Ride With The Stars” — Locals can ride motocross at Speedworld Motocross Park with the stars of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series. Many of the series top racers are former motocross superstars and enjoy riding with the Arizona locals. This event is a fund-raiser benefitting the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, breast cancer awareness and research. Invited stars include: Jeremy McGrath, Brian Deegan, Cary Hart, Twitch, Ricky Johnson, Robby Woods and others. Gates open at 6 p.m. The cost is $25 for riders and $10 for spectators. Fans under 12 are free.

April 15: Practice and qualifying for Rounds 3 and 4 — Qualifying sessions and practice for all classes. Gates open at 9 a.m. Tickets are available at the gate. Adults are $10, children 6-12 are $10 and children under 6 are free. Spectators enter on Jomax Road.

Fan Appreciation Party — Race fans of all ages have the opportunity to interact with the racers and race teams at Buffalo Wild Wings in Surprise. Drivers will sign autographs and hang out with fans providing photo opportunities and candid conversation with the sport’s stars. This Surprise tradition starts at 7 p.m. No cover charge. All ages are free to attend.

April 16: Round 3 of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series — Gates open at 9 a.m. Practice and qualifying sessions are followed by racing action starting at 11:30 a.m. Opening ceremonies begin at 2:30 p.m. followed by all professional/unlimited category main events. Tickets are available at the gate. Adults cost $30, children 6-12 are $10 and children under 6 are free. Spectators enter on Jomax Road.

Post race taco party — A post-race party will be at Chuy’s Mesquite Broiler in Surprise. The party starts at 6 p.m. No cover charge. All ages are free to attend.

April 17th: Round 4 of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series — Gates open at 9 a.m. for a full day of racing. Practice and qualifying sessions are followed by racing action starting at 11:30 a.m. Opening ceremonies begin at 2:30 p.m. followed by all professional/unlimited category main events. Tickets are available at the gate. Adult tickets are $30, children 6-12 cost $10 and children under 6 are free. Spectators enter on Jomax Road.

A limited number of tickets are available for the Speedworld Paddock Club featuring shaded dining, catered lunch and complimentary beverages and snacks throughout the race weekend, and a shaded grandstand area. In addition to an overnight RV camping area, a limited number of VIP RV parking spaces offering trackside viewing from the comfort of your own RV are available. Spaces are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
