Spring has sprung, and with flowers blooming all around the Valley, Phoenix Art Museum is getting in on the floral action.

The ninth annual Arts & Flowers exhibit is back at the venue, with 60 Arizona floral designers creating arrangements meant to interpret the museum’s artworks.

Held Thursday, April 4, through Sunday, April 7, the popular show features a new designer this year: the Phoenix Bonsai Society. It will debut a bonsai piece on the museum’s Grossman Terrace.

Supplemental talks and presentations will be given throughout the four-day event, including a luncheon on April 4 and a floral-arranging demonstration on April 5. These events require fees in addition to museum entrance.

Admission to the Arts & Flowers exhibit is included with general museum admission of $6 to $15 per person. Children 6 and younger get in free. Admission will be free 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, April 5, in conjunction with Phoenix’s monthly First Friday arts event.

Phoenix Art Museum is at 1625 N. Central Ave. For more information and a full schedule of events, call (602) 257-1222 or visit phxart.org.
