Arrowhead Grill is giving away free appetizers to Dads who bring in their ugliest Father's Day tie June 19.

The ugliest tie will also win a $50 gift certificate.

Then, to make Dad feel extra special this year, Arrowhead Grill is offering two dining options.

The restaurant is featuring a Father's Day brunch menu that includes an entrée choice of a half-rack of New Zealand lamb, an 8-ounce prime rib, 10-ounce Delmonico steak, Atlantic salmon, eggs Benedict, roasted half chicken, surf and turf or swordfish.

A delicious Arrowhead Grill side will also be included, with the choices including sautéed asparagus, AG hash browns, maple mashed sweet potatoes, sautéed green beans, creamed spinach, sautéed mushroom and onion, baked potato, creamed corn or mashed potatoes. And for starters, Arrowhead Grill is offering a spring, chopped, Caesar, house or ambrosia salad.

The special menu will be available from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 19. The cost is $35.99 per person and reservations are required.

If Dad would rather dine after the U.S. Open golf tournament ends, then Arrowhead Grill's vast selection of signature steaks will be served for dinner starting at 4 p.m.

Dad can enjoy the Arrowhead Grill house specialty (a 10-ounce sirloin steak dubbed the Delmonico after Chef Charles Ranhofer's signature steak at Manhattan's Delmonico Hotel more than 100 years ago) or such house favorites as a bacon-wrapped filet, New York strip steak, prime rib or Kansas City strip steak.

"Celebrate Father's Day by giving Dad what he wants - a great steak and a chance to get rid of an ugly tie," said chef and owner Charles Schwerd.

Arrowhead Grill is at 8280 W. Union Hills Drive (Loop 101 and Union Hills) in the West Valley. To make a reservation or for more information, call 623-566-2224 or visit www.arrowheadgrill.com.
