Are House Republicans, and the few Democrats who have joined them in voting against the interests of working families, smart enough to read the (very clear) handwriting on the wall?

On May 24, Democrat Kathy Hochul handily defeated Republican Jane Corwin in one of the deepest, ruby red legislative districts in the entire country (New York-26).

Why? Corwin said she would have voted for the fatally flawed Ryan GOP budget plan, which kills Medicare and replaces it with a wholly inadequate voucher system.

Clearly, a huge number of GOP voters joined most Democratic voters in rejecting this horrible idea.

Our entire GOP Arizona House delegation (Schweikert, Gosar, Flake, Quayle, Franks) has voted to approve the Ryan plan. Do they have the courage of their convictions?

Will they stick with their approval of the destruction of Medicare so all of them can give yet more billions in subsidies to the oil companies?

I hope they do, because it will make it so much easier to turn the scoundrels out of office next year.
