Hospice of the Valley will host a public workshop detailing how to make end-of-life decisions at Valley Unitarian Universalist Congregation (VUU) on March 9.

The organization will present the topic of the importance of having a plan and exploring the sharing of personal beliefs and values with family, friends and doctors. The process involves thinking, talking and documenting what medical care the person desires.

VUU is a community that nurtures each person’s life-long spiritual journey and creates a place of peace and celebration. VUU members seek to create lives of integrity, service and joy. Other provider information will be available from organizations including The Funeral Consumers Alliance, The Alzheimer’s Association and the Donor Network of Arizona.

Valley Unitarian Universalist Congregation is located at 6400 W. Del Rio St. in Chandler. The event begins at noon, and more information is available by visiting www.vuu.org or calling (480) 899-4249.
