C.J. Cron has a torn labrum and it hasn't slowed him one bit.
The Mountain Pointe graduate made his professional debut last seek and in four games with the Orem Owlz in the Pioneer League (rookie league), he went 7 for 16 (.438) with two home runs and five RBIs.
Cron was taken with the 17th overall pick in June by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.
He revealed recently that he has a torn labrum in his right throwing shoulder. He will be the designated hitter until having surgery in September.
