Michael Angelo Bruno, 54, of Ahwatukee Foothills passed away on July 19 in Kingman, Ariz. He was born on April 25, 1957 in Kenosha, Wis. He graduated from Tremper High School in 1975 in Kenosha after which he attended the University of Minnesota and Arizona State University.

Bruno married Kathy Fletcher in 1983, and together they have two beautiful daughters, Anne Marie and Renee Elizabeth. He and his father started City Lights Inc. in 1983, where he was currently company president. Bruno was above all else a family man. His family, many friends and loved ones could feel his love and generosity through his warm heart and selflessness.

Bruno was an outdoorsman, who enjoyed hiking, four-wheeling, camping, fishing, boating and spending time with family and friends at his home in Rocky Point, Mexico.

He is preceded in death by his father, Peter Michael Bruno; grandparents, Michael Angelo Bruno, Francesco Parinello and Katherine Parinello. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Ann Bruno; daughters, Anne Marie Bruno and Renee Elizabeth Bruno; grandmother, Florence Bruno; mother, Nina Ann Bruno; his siblings Peter Francis Bruno (Lisa), John William Bruno (Tami), Catherine Mary Cowles (Lee); and 11 nieces and nephews.

Visitation was on Aug. 18 at Queen of Heaven Mortuary, 1562 E. Baseline Road in Mesa. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, Aug. 19 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, where he attended church, 3550 E. Knox Road, at 9:30 a.m. Luncheon to follow. Interment at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice. Arrangements entrusted to Queen of Heaven Mortuary.
