BofA charity gives $25,000 to United Food Bank in Arizona

The Bank of America Charitable Foundation awarded a $25,000 grant to the United Food Bank to aid in its work of feeding the hungry in Arizona.

The United Food Bank received a $25,000 grant from the Bank of America Charitable Foundation to help feed the hungry in Arizona.

The most recent study on Child Food Insecurity in the U.S. states that nearly 1 in 4 Arizona children is experiencing food insecurity. In the 2010 Hunger in America Report, nearly 70% of Arizonans on food assistance said that it was their first time applying for food aid. Many families have to choose between paying their bills and buying food, the report said.
