Party in the park at Wickenburg Oktoberfest

Wickenburg Children’s cultural Organization will stage an Oktoberfest celebration for its fall Music in the Park on the grounds of the Garcia Little Red Schoolhouse. 

The festivities will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Oct. 23 and will feature Bavarian music, food and beverages.  Admission tickets for adults are $15 and will include a bratwurst sandwich and soft drink; tickets for children under 12 are $5 and will include a sandwich and a soft drink.  There also will be authentic sauerkraut. Additional beverages and desserts will be for sale with a separate beer garden available for ages 21 and older.

“The Fun Guys,” associated with the Accordion Club of Sun City, will be the featured music. Jack Dermody, the band leader, said “they specialize in Oktoberfest festivals.”

The Garcia Little Red Schoolhouse is at 245 N. Tegner St. in Wickenburg.
