Welcome to the "SpaSter" (spa monster) era. Like all 4 year olds, mine is no exception to being spoiled. Gone are the days of temper tantrums upon exiting the local toy store. Simply because now I have a secret weapon: A pedicure. Now when my daughter wants to "act out" instead of taking away a toy as punishment I threaten to cancel a spa appointment. She gets manicures and pedicures almost weekly. We have a deal though. No wild colors on the fingernails, only subtle pinks or clear. On her toes, however, she can go all out. She gets the full treatment, too. Sugar scrub, oil and massage.

It all started when she happened to go with me to my local nail salon a week after they installed kid pedicure chairs. These chairs have hot pink, big teddy bear head rests and DVD players with a library of movies brought to them like they're choosing a favorite tea at a restaurant. Miracle Nails in Ahwatukee Foothills accommodates both men and women. The Miracle Spa menu includes; full acrylic, gel or silk nail sets, manicures, pedicures, waxing and more. Miracle Nails has a relaxing ambiance, complete with a big-screen TV, massage chairs and readily available ice cold water. Miracle Nails is the perfect place to introduce your "SpaSter" to a child-friendly atmosphere that you both can enjoy. Call today and tell them On Fashion sent you.
