The annual “Bring your Dog to the Park” event returns to Surprise Stadium next month, giving baseball fans a chance to check out a ballgame with man’s best friend.

Sponsored by All-Star Animal Hospital, the event takes places 1:05 p.m. March 6, when the 2010 American League Champion Texas Rangers play the Milwaukee Brewers.

Dogs and owners will have their own designated doggie area. “People tickets” are $14 and “dog tickets” are $5.

To receive tickets, a registration form must be completed in advance and submitted to the Surprise Recreation Campus Box Office. Form, which will be accepted through March 1, can be picked up at the Surprise Recreation Campus box office or downloaded at www.surprisespringtraining.com.

Copies of current vaccinations are required at the time of registration. No walk-ups will be allowed on event day.

For information, call the Surprise Recreation Campus box office at 623-222-2222 or visit www.surprisespringtraining.com.
