Ahwatukee Community Swim & Tennis Center chili cook-off

The Ahwatukee Community Swim & Tennis Center is proud to present the 7th Annual Valley of the Sun & Copperstate Regional Chili Cook-off and Craft Market, sanctioned by the International Chili Society. The winners from each cook-off will advance to compete in the 2011 World Championship. The cooking begins on Saturday, March 12 at Ahwatukee Park, 4700 East Warner Road, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and then again on Sunday, March 13 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The chili cook-off is free to spectators, so bring out your family, friends, and neighbors. Tasting kits will be available for $5. Crafters can contact the community center to reserve space, only 30 spots are available.

On Saturday, there will be live music and Cow Chip Bingo. The cooking and craft market continues on Sunday along with the Ahwatukee Farmer's Market. Please contact the Ahwatukee Community Swim & Tennis Center for information and registration, (480) 893-3431 or www.ahwatukeehoa.com.
