The Gauntlet and Spooktacular Mini-Golf

What: Individuals infected with a horrific virus have been quarantined in Mesa. That’s the made-up story behind The Gauntlet, a multi-level haunted house where participants must crawl and climb over objects and stairs to escape. If you’re in the mood for something less scary — or less athletic — Golfland’s adjacent 18-hole miniature golf course sports a spooky theme.

When: Dates and hours vary Sept. 30 through Oct. 31; call or visit Golfland’s website for details.

Where: Golfland-Sunsplash, 155 W. Hampton Ave., Mesa

Cost: $12 for haunted house admission. Mini-golf is $6.82 per child and $7.82 per adult. $29.95 Unlimited Fear and Fun Package includes haunted house, unlimited mini-golf and race cars.
