St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Irish Faire

Phoenix honors Arizona’s Irish heroes with a festive cavalcade of Irish step-dancers, the Arizona Irish Colleen and her court, Scottish bagpipe performers, twirlers and high school bands. Revelers are also invited to an Irish Faire, where they’ll enjoy live music, Irish crafts, a kids’ play area and admission to Phoenix’s McClelland Irish Library.

Fat Willy’s St. Patty’s Day Extravaganza

Celebrate the patron saint of Ireland in style with three days worth of green beer, corned beef and cabbage, live music and cornhole tournaments.

Experience Ireland

Recently named one of America’s top 10 museum’s for families by USA Today, the Musical Instrument Museum can’t be beat for family friendly programming, and their Ireland-themed celebration is no exception. The event highlights the music and culture of the Emerald Isle with performances from the High Desert Harpers and Irish musicians Dé Máirt Ceol. There are also Irish dancers from the Maguire Academy of Irish Dance, Irish storytelling, Celtic-inspiried face painting, a photo booth, and Irish-themed offerings in the cafe.

Green bagels and a Corned Beef Feast at Chompie's

Chompie’s, Arizona’s New York-style deli, is again offering its annual St. Patrick’s Day All-You-Can-Eat Corned Beef Feast on March 17 — but we’re noting the restaurant’s St. Pat’s-themed way to start the day: a green bagel.

It’s among many fresh-baked goods, including Irish soda bread, that will be available that day.

The all-you-can-eat meal, served dine-in-only starting at 11 a.m., includes slow-roasted corned beef, boiled red potatoes, cabbage and soda bread for $18.99. A single-serving version, including dessert and availabe for dine-in or take-out, is $15.99.
