I would like to comment on the letter to the editor, "Coyotes are an immediate threat." I'm sorry for Dr. Grasel's loss, but there are many threats out there for animals. When you let your pets roam free you take that risk. Other risks are rattlesnakes, scorpions, poisons, and cars. Coyotes have no boundaries, they are just looking for food. So keep your pets inside, that's why my cat is still alive.
