Desert Vista's Nathan Yamaguchi will be shooting in an archery competition at the SoCal Showdown in Chula Vista, Calif., Oct. 8-10 before heading off to the U.S. Olympic Training Center, Oct. 11-12.
Yamaguchi has qualified to be one of four archers representing the United States in the Junior division at the Pan-Am Archery Championships in Guadalajara, Mexico, Oct. 13-22.
