Ninety art entries have been received for the sixth annual Phoenix Sister Cities International Competition for Artists with Disabilities.

The art will be displayed at an exhibition from 6 to 9 p.m. Nov. 4, at The Warehouse 1005 Studio and Gallery, 1005 N. First St. The exhibition is free and open to the public.

Artists with a disability, 19 years of age or older and residing in Arizona or one of Phoenix's nine sister cities were eligible to participate in the contest.

Thirty-two pieces of art were received from five of Phoenix's sister cities: Chengdu, China; Grenoble, France; Hermosillo, Mexico; Ramat-Gan, Israel; and Taipei, Taiwan.

The 58 other pieces of art were received from organizations and individuals in the Phoenix metropolitan area.

Seventy-four of the art entries are competing for cash awards of $500, $300 and $150 for first, second and third places.

These pieces of art will be available for sale on a first-come, first-served basis.

The public will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite art work. The artist receiving the most votes will be given the People's Choice Award at the end of the event.
