Hospice of the Valley is seeking Spanish speaking volunteers to assist patients and support their families.

The agency is hosting two volunteer orientation sessions from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on June 2 and June 9 at 1510 E. Flower St.

Volunteers provide respite for caregivers, read and visit with patients, run errands and offer emotional support. Most hospice care is provided in patients’ homes.

Volunteers must attend four orientation sessions; classes will be conducted in Spanish. Registration is required by calling (602) 636-6336.
