The annual Step Into Spring Fun Walk for adults ages 50 and beyond will be Feb. 23 at the Peoria Sports Complex.

Check-in will begin at 8:30 a.m. at Gate A, with the walk starting at 9 a.m.

There will be a wellness fair at 10 a.m. and a barbecue lunch at 11 a.m. Door prizes and goody bags will be part of the fun, as well as live music provided by Arizona Diamondbacks organist and Peoria resident Bobby Freeman.

Register by Feb. 10 to guarantee a T-shirt at the event.

The fee is $15; add $2 for a 2XL or 3XL shirt. Forms can be downloaded from or picked up at the Peoria Community Services office, Peoria libraries, the Peoria Community Center or Rio Vista Recreation Center.
