A criminal with hate, is thinking only of self

A policeman has to fight for justice

Against evil and crime

Even if it means dying

A man with a dishonorable name

Wielding a gun, a senseless game

A Hero’s call

A burst and a blast, smoke in the air

Words of sorrow and a murder’s fall

Love and a helping hand

Now a badge with a band

To do what is right

Against what is wrong

A Hero’s song

Lawlessness has no place

Or a society full of hate

Bravery overcomes sorrow

Fire a bullet for others tomorrow

To serve and protect

He’s put to rest

The last means of honor

Let us never forget.

In adoration of fallen police officer, John T. Hobbs.

God Bless his family.
