Another Republican has joined the race for Congressional District 9.
Leah Campos Schandlbauer, a mother of four and former operations officer in the Central Intelligence Agency, said she will ground her campaign in a defense of free markets, limited government and the vision for a great nation committed to freedom and integrity at home and abroad.
“The America and the Arizona in which I grew up are under assault, not only from without, but from within,” she said in a statement. “I am responding in the best way that one can in our country — stand up, step out and tell the people the truth.”
To run for office, Campos Schandlbauer recently resigned her post at the CIA.
