Muder trial set to open Tuesday
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Jury selection is expected to continue Monday in the murder trial of Grace Pianka, 51, accused of killing her husband Adam Kostewicz in the couple's Ahwatukee Foothills home April 15, 2006.
Police say that Pianka shot and killed her husband after learning he was having an affair and planed to leave her.
Defense attorneys have suggested that it was actually the other woman who killed Kostewicz, to gain control of his estate.
Opening statements by the prosecution and defense are scheduled to begin Tuesday, July 29, in Maricopa County Superior Court.
