The Mountain Pointe Hall of Fame class from last year now has some company.
And that class might not be as exclusive as they originally thought.
The plaques for the 2012 class were made to look identical as the first class - including having "inaugural" listed on it.
Pride athletic director Ian Moses made light of the situation to set the tone for the evening that included a BBQ, unveiling of the plaques, introduction of each inductee given by a student and a ride around the track at halftime of the Pride's 56-7 win over Mesa.
This year’s class members are: John Lassen, boys golf coach/teacher; Connie Kamm, English teacher, department chair; DC Pierson, student/thespian; Capt. Ross Pixler, student (West Point grad who won a Silver Star); Amy Wagner, a six-time high school All-American swimmer; and Joe Mather, baseball All-American, professional athlete.
