Lizzie, a 6-year-old, Australian Shepherd escaped through an open garage at her Ahwatukee Foothills home Sunday night, and her owners are desperately searching for her.
"She is one of the sweetest dogs I’ve ever met. She’s very gentle, but is very timid if you’re not on her ‘approved people’ list," Lizzie’s owner Cassie Samples said.
Lizzie was last seen around her home at 40th Street and Chandler Boulevard on the evening of Feb. 7. She is tri-colored, doesn’t have a tail, has ID tags and is microchipped.
