Free gas Thursday morning

It isn't in Ahwatukee Foothills, but Allstate Insurance is hosting a gas giveaway from 6-8 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 19 at the Circle K on the southeast corner of Third Street and Osborne Road. Drivers will be able to fill up with up to 10 gallons of unleaded gas per car/truck.
According to the press release it will be first come - first served.
Police will be directing traffic and will only allow access into the Circle K station from 3rd Street northbound. Drivers interested in obtaining free gas should plan to approach the gas station from McDowell Road, and head north on 3rd Street.
According to the press release the reason for the free gas is that Phoenix drivers are among the safest in the nation – according to the 2009 Allstate America's Best Drivers Report, which ranks cities based on the likelihood drivers will be involved in an auto collision. Phoenix is home to the safest big city drivers in the country. The free gas giveaway is Allstate’s way of saying "thank you" to Phoenix drivers.
