More work this weekend on Interstate 10
Comments 0 | Recommend 0According to the Arizona Department of Transportation, if all goes well, this will be the last weekend crews detour traffic to lay rubberized asphalt on the eastbound lanes of Interstate 10.
Motorists can expect detours and delays on the eastbound lanes while that stretch receives installation of the quiet pavement.
For this weekend, ADOT says eastbound I-10 will be narrowed to one lane from Loop 202 to Wild Horse Pass Boulevard, beginning at 11 p.m. tonight until 5 a.m. Monday, April 21.
Ramps from eastbound Loop 202 to eastbound I-10 will also be closed from tonight until Monday.
For those who plan to visit the casino or the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass resort, the Wild Horse Pass Boulevard interchange off I-10 will be closed 9 p.m. Saturday, April 19 until 5 a.m. Monday.
Motorists heading towards the casino or resort are advised to use Chandler Boulevard to southbound 56th Street to Sundust Road as an alternative.
