H1N1 vaccines available at Kyrene School District

Comments 0 | Recommend 0

H1N1 vaccinations have made their way to the Kyrene School District, and immunization clinics will be held at various KSD locations beginning Monday, Nov. 16.

The immunization clinics are being coordinated by Mollen Immunization Clinics, and the fee-based clinics will be held during after-school hours. Kyrene parents are encouraged to register for the clinics online at www.flushotusa.com, although paper registration forms will also be available at the clinics.

According to Mollen’s Web site, anyone 4 years old and up is eligible for a flu shot at any of their clinics. Types of insurances that are accepted by Mollen can also be found on the Web site.

The Influenza A flu shot will also be available at the Mollen Immunization Clinics next week at KSD. The Maricopa County Health Department is encouraging immunization as a means of slowing the spread of influenza.

Healthcare reform
In a final push for a sweeping healthcare overhaul, President Barack Obama urged a simple "up-or-down" vote on the legislation. What would your vote be?
Up! Let's get this thing passed already!
The proposals look good on paper, but I'm still hesitant about its execution.
Down. It's time to go back to the drawing board.
