An Ahwatukee Foothills family is desperately seeking its 1-and-a-half-year-old, solid black Pomeranian named Chaos. The dog has brown eyes and weighs a little over 6 pounds and was last seen in the vicinity of Chandler Boulevard and Desert Foothills Parkway at about 2 p.m. last Saturday, July 4. She was wearing a light-pink collar with ribbon roses and colored beads with a heart-shaped tag that reads: "Chaos, Help Me Home."
The Pomeranian has a long, silky, shiny, straight coat with ears that stand straight up on the top of her head. She also has a medium-length tail, which curls up onto her back that is covered with the same long hair, but not particularly bushy. Chaos also has a microchip.
Owners Michael and Jennifer D'Oliveira are asking anyone with information to contact them at their family home, (480) 659-6462. They can also be reached via cell phones: Jennifer at (714) 403-2730 and Michael at (602) 312-3237. The D'Oliveiras can also be reached by e-mail at eventfully@cox.net.
"Chaos was at the Foothills Pet Resort when it happened and we had to cut our trip short and rushed home from California as soon as we heard," said Jennifer D'Oliveira, adding that the resort is being helpful in taking out ads and contributing half of the amount of a $1,000 reward for Chaos' safe return home.
"We really miss her and desperately want her back," Jennifer added. "She was my little baby and I am just devastated."
