AWSDA Conference focuses on self defense skills for women

Association for Women's Self Defense Advancement (AWSDA) is hosting the AWSDA 20th Anniversary Conference Nov. 3 to 7 to help women learn to defend themselves and keep them safe from harm. The conference will take place at the Hilton Phoenix East, 1011 W. Holmes Ave., Mesa.

Learn the latest and most effective self defense training methods from around the world. Get trained in everything ranging from verbal self defense to physical hands-on techniques. A two-day Women's Self Defense Instructor Course is included in the cost of the conference.

Participants may attend one day or all four days.
