Owners: Dr. Greg and Shele Hauser

Q: Where are you from and what did you do before opening your business?

A: Dr. Greg Hauser grew up in Appleton, Wis. After serving in the U.S. Navy for six years, from 1988 to 1994, he moved back to Appleton and worked at Appleton Papers for about two years. He began going to college and completed Chiropractic College in Kansas City, Mo., in 2002.

Q: Why did you open your business in Ahwatukee?

A: We really liked the area when we moved here. We wanted to be involved with the community we lived in.

Q: How did you get the idea to open your business?

A: After working with a couple of other chiropractors in Phoenix and north Scottsdale we really knew how we wanted to treat people and run a practice. So we started our own clinic.

Q: What type of merchandise/services do you sell?

A: Chiropractic care for the entire family, all ages, all shapes and sizes, with an emphasis on children, expectant mothers and motor vehicle injuries.

Q: What does your business offer that no one else does?

A: We do not use the typical twist and crack; we use a gentle handheld adjusting instrument called the Activator. Dr. Greg Hauser is one of eight chiropractors in Arizona who is pediatric certified. He is one of 38 doctors in Arizona certified in whiplash injury biomechanics and mild brain traumatology.

Q: How have residents of the community responded to your business?

A: It seems to be a favorable response. Even in this economy we are serving the community and growing our practice.

Q: What does your business have in store for the future?

A: Dr. Greg Hauser is working on his advanced certification in whiplash and continues to improve himself for the betterment of his patients' care.

Q: Anything else you want the community to know about you or your business?

A: If you are fearful of chiropractic, please stop by for a no pressure visit. Meet the doctor, staff and tour the clinic.
