Menchie's frozen yogurt is hosting a grand opening March 25 from 3 to 7 p.m. at 4905 E. Ray Road. Customers can choose and serve themselves.
There is a wide variety of flavors, all which are low in fat and high in calcium, and more than 40 toppings to choose from.
Menchie's also prides itself on giving back to the community, which is why they are excited to host this event for Phoenix Children's Hospital. During the event any customer donating $10 or more will receive a free 10-ounce yogurt and donations of less than $10 dollars will receive a discount of 20 percent on yogurt.
Menchie's will donate 20 percent of all sales to Phoenix Children's Hospital.
Gift bags will be given to the first 30 customers. There will also be face painting, hourly raffles, giveaways, free stickers and tattoos.
