This is a great way for customers to show their support for green initiatives and their love for the environment. With IKEA drawing from its company's Swedish heritage and respect of nature, the company believes it can be a good business while doing good business and reflects a business model designed to minimize environmental impacts. Earth Week is an important time to stop and think about how you affect the environment and what you can do to help protect it. Many promotions are planned for the week including bike to work/school day, Earth day promotion, Sustainability Fair, a paper shred-a-thon, and E-waste day at IKEA.
