As You Wish Pottery celebrates 15 years
The month of September marks the 15th anniversary of As You Wish Pottery, and throughout the month you can join As You Wish by helping to paint smiles for sick children as they give back to the community in a fun, creative way.
As You Wish has partnered with Camp Soaring Eagle, a local non-profit dedicated to sending seriously ill children to camp to experience the healing power of laughter and sheer joy of play that sickness has denied them. In honor of their 15-year anniversary, As You Wish has committed to send 15 children to camp through the Tiles for Smiles program.
Visit the store at 4905 E. Ray Road, Suite 103 to paint four-inch tiles for $10 each or 12 tiles for $100 and the proceeds will go directly to send a child to camp (over 3,200 tiles need to be painted to send 15 kids to camp). As You Wish will donate $7 out of every $10 tile purchased. The tiles are then donated to Camp Soaring Eagle and made into art projects that are sent to various camps across the country. Everyone painting a tile during the month will be entered to win a $150 As You Wish gift certificate, which will be drawn Sept. 30.
As You Wish is also offering $1.50 studio fees all day Sept. 17 to 19 and will raffle $15 gift cards throughout the day Sept. 18. All September classes will reflect the celebratory theme, including Mommy & Me Cupcake Handprint class on Sept. 6, Pottery Pals Celebrate Cake Plate class on Sept. 13 and Beginning Technique Class - 15 Techniques to Celebrate on Sept. 15.
