The Auto Repair Good Guys Foundation provides car repairs for needy families in Arizona. The foundation also offers vital information and assistance for motorists and financial aid to students for vocational tech school.

Dave Riccio, President of Tri-City Transmission in Tempe, funded the establishment of the non-profit foundation and the development of its website.

The mission of the foundation is both charitable and educational. The charitable mission helps financially strapped families, who need to repair their cars but simply do not have the money to do so. In these cases, a "Good Guy Shop" supplies the labor and the foundation pays for the parts. In some cases, the foundation will provide rehabilitated vehicles to families with no car to fix or worth fixing.

For more information, go to AutoRepairGoodGuys.com. If you would like to schedule a presentation of "Auto Repair Rip-Offs - Don't be a Victim" or if you know a deserving shop that you would like to nominate to be an "Auto Repair Good Guy," e-mail Thom Tschetter at thom@autorepairgoodguys.com or call him at 866-747-1331, ext. 10001.
