Q: Where are you from and what did you do before opening your business?

A: I moved to Arizona in 2003 from New York City. I graduated from medical school in 1993 and have been practicing medicine after completing my residency in 2002.

Q: Why did you open your business in this community?

A: I am a resident of Ahwatukee and felt it was best to open my practice in Ahwatukee so I could serve my community by providing medical services to the residents of Ahwatukee.

Q: What type of merchandise/services do you sell?

A: I am an internist so I provide medical care to teens, adults and seniors. I serve as a primary care doctors to mainly adults, including teens, but especially seniors.

I manage complex medical problems like diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, as well as simple illness like cold, flus, urinary tract infections and more. Most insurance is accepted in my practice.

Q: What does your business have in store for the future?

A: The health of our patients is our primary goal and so our practice is continuously working and finding ways to bring good medical care to the community.

Q: Anything else you want the community to know about you or your business?

A: We are accepting new patients and have same-day appointments. We are also open on Saturdays until 2 p.m.

As a resident of Ahwatukee, Dr Oppong-Takyi is dedicated to providing great medical care for the residents of Ahwatukee.
