Angela Gallardo has launched The Cocoa Palette, a new business based in Ahwatukee Foothills that provides artistically designed chocolates with flavor combinations. Gallardo is looking to provide a fresh chocolate alternative to the supermarket variety, using 100 percent organic chocolate and other natural ingredients.
An open house for The Cocoa Palette will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 11 at 4305 E. Graythorn Ave. Complimentary chocolates and beverages will be provided. In honor of Patriot Day, the Classic Vanilla Bean Truffle with patriotic stripe will be available for purchase. Half of all proceeds will go to the 100 Club of Phoenix, a local non-profit organization supporting families of injured of fallen officers and firefighters.
