A company that overhauls and supplies aerospace systems is moving its Phoenix operation to a warehouse in Chandler.

Triumph Group Inc. will shift its auxiliary power unit repair and overhaul facility to 50 S. 56th St. in May 2012. The Pennsylvania-based operation is leaving its location along Interstate 10 because the land is being acquired for freeway widening.

Triumph signed an 11-year lease on the 78,000-square-foot facility, which was negotiated by CB Richard Ellis on undisclosed terms.

Triumph said it chose its new location because of freeway access and because the new building allows it to expand.
