Texting while driving is extremely dangerous. I think everybody knows it. Though, a recent study by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration demonstrated that two out of 10 drivers are texting while driving. Of the people 21 to 24 years of age who replied, half said they do it. Increasing numbers of states are banning text messaging behind the wheel. And yet the numbers continue to rise. But the issue could be even more widespread than people want to admit, the study indicates. It is dangerous and frightening to text and drive at the same time.
