City of Phoenix offices will be closed on Monday, March 31, in observance of the César Chávez holiday.

Phoenix buses and Dial-a-Ride and Valley Metro light rail will operate on normal schedules.

Parking in metered spots will be free.

There will be no change in collection schedules for trash. Trash and recycling will be collected as usual for those with Monday collection. The 27th Avenue and North Gateway Garbage/Recycle Transfer Stations will be closed on Monday.

Ahwatukee’s Ironwood Library and all Phoenix branch libraries will be closed. The Ahwatukee Foothills News will be open during normal hours, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
