Early results from Tuesday’s election is showing voter support for both the Kyrene School District and Tempe Union High School District Maintenance and Operations Overrides.

Maricopa County unofficial election results show Kyrene’s 15 precincts reporting, with 58 percent supporting the M&O Override.

As for Tempe Union, 24 precincts have been reported with 58 percent supporting the M&O Override.

The passage of the M&O Overrides will be a continuation of previous years, where funds go into various school operations.

Official Maricopa County election results won’t be announced for a few more weeks. Stay tuned to and Ahwatukee Foothills News for updates.
