Multiple people are in custody after leading officers on a high-speed chase in the southeast Valley early Thursday morning.

Several officers were attempting to stop a car that led them several miles from Interstate 10 south near Riggs Road to 40th Street and Pecos Road in Ahwatukee.

Police had to use stop sticks after the suspects rammed police cars, the vehicle ended up crashing off the shoulder.

Bales of marijuana were reportedly thrown from the car during the pursuit that reached speeds of 90 mph.

It is unclear how many people were arrested and if there were any injuries. It appears no officers were injured.

No other information was released.
