The Ahwatukee Foothills Chamber of Commerce has named Dr. Kelly de Simone, owner of Eye Priority, as the 2011 Women in Business Palo Verde Award winner for Business Woman of the Year.
The award was given at the Women in Business Gala which took place Saturday, Nov. 5.
Women in Business also bestowed a Lifetime Achievement award to Shirley Eubanks, one of the founders of Women in Business at the AFCC and longtime chamber Membership Director.
The chamber also awarded two $500 scholarships to Jaslean Ahuja and Allyson Kolodziej, both seniors at Desert Vista High School.
